The KD650 "Sparta" now has a new owner.
The project has been very fun and rewarding. She has looked after me and my family on many trips around the gulf. However time has come to move on to new things.
New owner here! Very pleased with Sparta. It's a fine boat and a a great baby step into the world of cruising yachts! Have so far done several short sails around the harbour with family & friends and a couple of fishing sorties with good results.
Sparta is very easy to sail and anchors well in the strong current zones in the upper harbour area. I've fitted a couple of bean bags which enable lazing whilst fishing... Sweet!
Sparta is a hit with everyone who comes aboard and I'm looking forward to some winter sailing in the coming months.
